Created by Alberto Carvajalino, this distinctive PADI specialty turns every dive into a tool against the invasive lionfish, a species that has no natural predators in the Caribbean and can strip a reef of its juvenile fish.
What you'll learn
Over four dives you study the impact of the invasion through real case studies, learn to safely handle the hunting equipment, practice rescue skills while carrying it, and complete two hunting dives.
It ends with a cooking workshop where you learn to make the most of the catch in local recipes, plus a first-aid workshop for stings.

Requirements
Open Water Diver or above, with good buoyancy. Includes materials, hunting and scuba gear, cooking and first-aid workshops.
