Bajo burbujas is one of the 29 dive sites we run around Isla Fuerte, in the Colombian Caribbean. It sits at a maximum depth of 18 - 30 metros and is classified as Avanzado, which makes it a site for advanced divers.
The dive
After a briefing on the boat, you descend along the wall or pinnacle into the open blue. At around 30 meters the light softens and the bigger animals appear. A typical dive here lasts 40 to 50 minutes, and your guide adapts the route to the current and the conditions of the day.
In March, April and May the visibility is at its best, sometimes so clear you can choose your entry from the surface.

What you'll see
Divers regularly encounter here: Atunes, meros, macarelas, delfines, sierras, wahoo, tiburon martillo, tiburon punta blanca, jureles, barracudas, centollas, pargos cubera.
Remember that every dive is different, and part of the magic of Isla Fuerte is never knowing exactly who will show up.
Who it's for
Bajo burbujas is an advanced, open-water site. Verified skills are mandatory, so whatever your certification we run a skill check on a previous fun dive to confirm your air consumption, buoyancy and comfort before the crossing.
