Born from the clash of tectonic plates, home to the Zenú people, and today a sanctuary of living reefs.
Eleven kilometers off the department of Córdoba, yet politically part of Bolívar, Isla Fuerte rose from the clash of tectonic plates. Rock structures surfaced and, over time, became the place where the Zenú people buried their most important chiefs. Years later, five families from Barú settled the island and made the riches of the sea their most precious resource.
In March, April and May the water is so clear you can pick the site from the boat, without even a mask, and keep discovering spots we didn't know existed.
