Discover Scuba: your first dive
If you have never dived, the Discover Scuba minicourse from $320.000 is the perfect start. You get a short theory briefing, basic skills in shallow water and then a real guided dive on the reef, all with an instructor beside you the whole time. No certification or prior experience is needed.
It is designed for total beginners, so the pace is calm and the depth is gentle. Many guests do this on day one and are hooked enough to book a full course before they leave the island.
Fun dives for certified divers
If you already hold an Open Water certification or higher, fun dives also start at $320.000 and take you straight to our reef sites with a guide who knows every corner. Isla Fuerte has 29 dive sites, from gentle coral gardens like Rosa Vieja to the submerged Zenú museum at Bajo Bonito.
Doing several dives across your stay usually works out better per dive, and we can build a multi-dive plan around your level and interests. Ask us about packages that combine diving with lodging.
The Bushnell deep expedition
The Bushnell expedition from $660.000 is our most advanced outing, a deeper open-water dive that suits experienced, certified divers looking for something bigger than the house reef. The higher price reflects the longer boat run, the smaller group, the deeper profile and the extra planning and safety margin it demands.
Because of the depth and conditions, we confirm your experience and may run a skills check before booking you on this one. It is a bucket-list dive rather than a first-timer dive.
What is always included
No matter which option you pick, the price always covers full equipment rental (mask, fins, BCD, regulator, tank and weights), Magenta dive insurance, a PADI-certified instructor or guide, and the boat transfer from Paso Nuevo to the dive site. There are no hidden add-ons for the basics of a safe dive.
